Seng Heng Bank Limited has always been emphasizing on human resources development and training to enhance professionalism and quality service of staff.  A series of tailor-made training programs have been arranged for different levels of staff members. Our training centre, located at 17/Floor Seng Heng Bank Tower provides a convenient and comfortable area for learning.  Our library at the 19/Floor, is equipped with internet access and more than 700 reference materials varying in banking and finance, law, computing, management, statistics, economics, customer services and language skills.

Our Training programs provide staff with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding on the operations of respective departments through assignments, participation and discussions workshops.  Courses or seminars are organized for staff members to enhance their banking related knowledge for sustaining professional and quality services to our customers.



To accomplish our Bank's multi-business development, diversified in-house training courses on information technology, attitude, marketing and customer service skills, and language skills are constantly arranged.  These courses are mainly conducted by our internal trainers or external professional trainers.

In 2005 - mid 2006, we have organized several Internel training programs which are as follows:-

  1. Banking Practice
  2. Loan Workshop
  3. Fundamental Concepts of Internal Control
  4. Seminar on "Compliance"
  5. Credit Procedures Workshop
  6. "Credit Policies and Procedures"
Seng Heng Bank will continue to enhance the banking knowledge of all staff members and to prepare them for achieving professional qualifications.



In addition to our in-house training, Seng Heng Bank has always been arranging external training programs conducted for staff members to acquire up-to-date banking knowledge, technology and market information.






Starting from June 2005, Seng Heng Bank has designed an 18 month Management Trainee Program which attracts high calibre university graduates to join and work as Management Trainees.  We provides them with career development programs and knowledge in management skills, leadership and supervisory skills to prepare them for managerial position.



Seng Heng Bank has always encouraged staff members to continue their educational study by providing an "Education Assistance Plan".  Staff members will be eligible to be subsidized for participating in job-related external courses or professional examinations.



In striving for better performance, our staff members have been upgrading themselves and aim at attaining public recognition through professional examinations such as CFA, CPA, HKIB, ACCA, HKSI Examinations.
